Will You Go Out Without Knowing?

Hebrews 11:8, "By faith Abraham…obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going." (NIV)

One of the difficulties as a Christian is this question--- "Will you go out without knowing" where God may be leading you? You do not know where you are going or what you are going to do; the only thing you know is that God knows where He is going. Each morning you wake up it is a "going out, " but, in a spiritual sense, you do not know where God will lead you today or any day!

So, build your confidence on the Lord. "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life…, " Matthew 6:25, -- take no thought for the things for which you have taken thought of before. In each daily activity and demand of life we'll be taken care of through the Lord God Almighty.

An additional thought---Do you ask God what He is going to do? Just stop and think a moment; He doesn’t seem to tell us. God does not seem to tell us what He is going to do at all. He just reveals to you who He Is. And, if you believe in Him, you will go out in surrender to Him until you are not surprised at all to what He may want you to do. Doubts may arise at times, yes – but through it all your faith will grow.

May we “…seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own,” Matthew 6:33-34. We are to go out because of our beliefs, our convictions, our experiences until, so far as our faith is concerned, there is nothing between ourselves and God. On a daily basis through spiritual growth and maturity our walk with God will become easier or at the least more manageable.
