One in three people in the United States has a chronic illness. If it is not you, it's someone you love. The need for emotional and spiritual support is apparent. HopeKeepers gives people the opportunity to openly discuss their faith, the illness and areas of life affected by the illness, including relationships, finances and careers. Don't allow your illness/pain to hold you back from experiencing the joy that God has in store for you. HopeKeepers is a program of Rest Ministries, Inc., a non-profit Christian organization that exists to serve people who live with chronic illness and pain by providing spiritual, emotional, relational, and practical support. |

Michael Steele is ten days from the biggest night of his life...walking the red carpet as a Best Actor nominee. Just when it seems that he has overcome industry blacklisting and persecution for his beliefs, Michael finds himself fighting for his life in a supernatural wager between God and Satan. "The Wager" is a good example of how you can sometimes take your life for granted. |

Michael Steele, played by Randy Travis, is a movie star who had it all and was also a good Christian man with good Christian values. In the film, Michael is tested over and over again in his faith. Like Job, he keeps going and keeps his faith in God. This movie is a wonderful example of how faith can guide us through rough situations.

Although this film is a sequel to the 2006 film, "The Perfect Stranger", you do not need to see the first film, as this film stands on its own. Nikki Cominsky's daughter Sarah, now 19 and heading West for college, is at her own spiritual crossroads. To further complicate matters, her mother has recently revealed that, nearly ten years ago, she was the dinner guest of the Almighty Himself. Thinking her mother is certifiably insane, Sarah strikes up an unlikely friendship with a travel companion who shares her disdain for religion. |

This is a realistic and gritty film which will hit close to home for many Christians. Pastor Ethan, comfortable in his ministry and pay, is sent by the board of his mega-church to get involved in the urban Second Chance church, where Pastor Jake, an African- American pastor, ministers to drug addicts, gang members, and teen mothers. Pastor Ethan soon realizes that he has his priorities mixed up and even his father, who originally founded the Second Chance, realizes he has gotten off the path he needs to be on. |

This film will inevitably cause the viewer to examine his/her motives, and that is the ultimate compliment to be paid to this movie. The acting and production values are very good in this film. There is some crude language, spoken even by Pastor Jake, but his wife reminds him to keep working on what comes out of his mouth. This film will make the viewer think, and there are not a lot of movies which do that.

Steppin' Out is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery support and spiritual growth ministry that provides a safe environment where we can share our experience, strength and hope in Christ, that we may solve our common problems of addictions, and the various types of relational dependencies. We embrace the 12-step program of recovery, recognizing and uplifting the underlying Biblical principles they manifest. The only requirements for participation are a desire for freedom from our dependent behaviors and an open heart to the message of wholeness made available through a relationship with Jesus Christ. |
