Praise TeamsPraise teams lead worship on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings and Saturday evenings. In addition to using vocalists, most of our praise teams utilize drums, keyboard, bass, and guitar when possible. Some teams also use other instruments. Unless the Worship Department or a particular praise team already knows about your skills and Christian testimony, an informal audition/interview would be required to participate in a team, if there is an opening. Teen ChoirThe teen choir is for grades 7 thru 12. They sing occassional specials and present dramatic musicals. Contact: Pastor Randy Thornburg |

Children's MusicWe offer children's music for grades 1-6. The Joyful Noise children's choir performs special musical performances for the entire congregation. There is also a preschool bell choir which performs periodically. Contact: Cathy Rush |

Our church orchestra is comprised of instrumentalists from high school age through adulthood, who are reasonably proficient. In addition to the regular orchestra instruments, we utilize players on keyboards, bass, drums, and hand-held percussion instruments. Players may choose to play for Sunday mornings or only for special events. Rehearsal times vary but are usually on Sunday mornings. Contact: Pastor Randy Thornburg |

Our Adult Choir participates in the 9:30am and 11:00am Sunday morning worship services in addition to offering special concerts and musicals throughout the year. No auditions are required, however, an information form needs to be completed to participate. |
The choir has regular rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Childcare is provided as part of the regular Wednesday night opportunities for children. If you sang in your high school choir or just enjoy singing to the car radio, please consider adding your voice to this ministry!
Special MusicWe are always on the lookout at WHFC for musicians whose musical gifts move other people's hearts! Singing or playing in small groups, ensembles, and/or solos usually requires an informal audition before selected members of the Music Committee. Contact: Pastor Randy Thornburg |

The lighting ministry is responsible for programming and running the lights in both the Activity Center and Worship center for services and special programs. Various levels of technical expertise are needed during all worship services. Training is offered for simple operation of the lighting board or more advanced programming. Sound MinistryPeople with a good ear and alert mind are neeeded to be trained on the digital mixer boards. Sound techs are utilized at all worship services and often at rehearsals. Contact: Greg Saive |

The Sermon CD & DVD Duplication Ministry is responsible for recording the Sunday 9:30am service and making CDs and a MP3 version for distribution. The CDs can be picked up in the Holiness Resource Center by the time the Sunday 11:00am service has completed. Computer Song ProjectionThe Computer Song Projection ministry used computer technicians to show the song lyrics on the projector screens during the services. This requires someone who is alert, focused and calm under pressure. Training will be offered on MediaShout (used in the Activity Center) and PowerPoint (used in the Worship Center) if you are interested in being part of this ministry.
