Mastering Motherhood seeks to provide love, support, encouragement and friendship to women seeking to follow the Lord in the adventure of mothering. Each week the ladies come together as a large group for brunch and devotions after which they break off into small groups studies. There is childcare provided for preschool and elementary aged children. The studies range in topics from parenting to deep bible studies. Check out the newsletter below for detailed descriptions of the studies available. Several of the studies don't build upon the previous week's discussion so you can join at any time!

The Ladies Missionary Fellowship hosts a Women's Spring Banquet (formerly Mother-Daughter Banquet). The evening is kicked off with a Chinese and silent auction plus a bake sale with all the proceeds used to support missions. This year part of the proceeds from the auctions will go towards helping to send 22 of our youth on a short term mission trip to Jamaica. Please consider helping make this event successful by donating items to the Chinese auction, silent auction and bake sale.

Marilyn Laszlo who is a former Bible translator and served almost 25 years in Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe Bible Translators will be the banquet speaker. The meal will consist of lemon chicken, red skin potatoes, green beans and carrots, fruit cup/roll, and dessert (cheesecake or chocolate cake). There will be an opportunity to have photographs taken prior to the banquet with the pictures available after the banquet. The theme of this year's banquet is 'The Year of the Towel':
A towel can have many uses .... wiping away a child's tears to soothe a physical or emotional hurt; binding a wound of an accident victim in an emergency; wiping a homemaker's hands as she moves from task to task, or removing the sweat from a weary athlete's face.
But, the most significant use of the towel took place 2000 years ago whenour loving Savior took an ordinary towel into His hands to dry the feet of His disciples only hours before His crucifixion. So, even an ordinary towel can take on a deeply symbolic meaning when seen in the hands of the Savior.
What can WE do with the towel in our hands?
