This weekend we are discussing the ten lepers and their response to healing at the words of Jesus in Luke 17:11-19.  This morning, I noticed something in the passage that I didn't catch while initially preparing for the sermon.  The one leper that returned to praise God and thank Jesus did so with "a LOUD voice."  Though no further commentary is given, it seems that this man was not only thankful but also a bit raucous in his response.  Perhaps he wanted everyone to know of his positive turn of events.  Or perhaps he just simply couldn't control himself.  Whatever the reason, this man was healed in an unexpected way and responded in an even more unexpected way: with thanks and praise.  But not just that... LOUDLY.  May my own response to God's blessings be similar!
