“Music is love in search of a word.” — Sidonie Gabrielle
IT's TIME TO FINALLY FIND HAPPILY EVER AFTER
True love is often elusive... and not just for couples, but for all of us! Knowing that we would struggle with love and relationships, God included these topics within the Bible.
Among the various verses and passages there is one book that focuses on love completely: The Songs of Songs. This book is one of the smallest, most difficult, yet one of the most popular with both Jews and Christians.
The Song's 117 verses fill a necessary vacuum in the Scriptures because it endorses love and sex, and celebrates it beyond all expectation. The experience of love modeled within its pages has an intensity for which there is no parallel in this cosmos and serves as a signpost to point to a greater love that lies beyond it.
It's February and we all desire deeper, closer, and more vibrant relationships, so why not make this year different! Join us as we take look at one of the greatest love stories in all of human history, the Song of Solomon.
Saturday Nights: 5:00pm, Worship Center
Sunday Mornings: 9:30 and 11:00am, Worship Center
P.S. Though the sermons in this series will talk directly about love, singleness, marriage, and relationships (because the Bible does), we are committed to keeping the discussion at a G- to PG-level. That said, we DO encourage parents to use their best judgment and consider utilizing our Children's programs, available in all Services.
